United Way of Lake County 2024-2025 Workplace Campaign Toolkit

When you partner with United Way of Lake County to run a workplace campaign, you create opportunities to engage your employees more deeply in their local community. You activate the process of permanent, positive change, and you connect your brand to a  trusted local nonprofit that's enlisting thousands to make Lake County a better place to live for all.

A campaign partnership strengthens connections between your employees and your community; helps educate those unaware of local issues and the challenges faced by Lake County's most vulnerable residents; provides your employees with an opportunity to give, volunteer for, and support worthy causes; and facilitates the power of collective impact to make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors in need.

If you would like information on starting a giving campaign in the company where you work, we want to hear from you! Please contact Stephanie Devers at 440.440-639-1236. or via email at sdevers@uwlc.orgIf you are interested in giving, you can click here to Donate Now .

Important Notice to Lake County Residents who Work Outside Lake County

If you live in Lake County, but work in another county where you make a workplace donation through your employer's fundraising campaign, it's very important to be aware of the following:

A) The ONLY way to ensure your gift benefits your home community of Lake County, is to designate your gift to United Way of LAKE COUNTY.

B) Write or type United Way of LAKE COUNTY on your pledge form

C) If you do not see a place to specify this designation on either your paper or electronic pledge form, ask your workplace administrator and let them know that you want to ensure your gift supports the community where you live. Do not be shy.

D) If you are not clear on how to ensure your donation benefits the community of your residence, you can always donate directly to us in one of 3 simple ways:

Online:  Donate online by clicking here (uwlc.org/give)

Phone:  Call 440-639-1291 to give by phone

Mail:  Mail a check payable to United Way of Lake County and mail to United Way of Lake County, 9285 Progress Parkway, Mentor, OH 44060
